Zeina's suggestion: MyMathLab

For Math teachers:

MyMathLab is an online interface that is integrated with the Pearson Book. Many innovative ways to use it, as for example, online Homework, quizzes, study plan, etc.
Zeina showed a way to use the interface in a Flipped Classroom! She can present it again for those who missed the meeting today (Nov 10, 2014)

The good news is that Pearson offers not only the online Lab for Math, but also for English, Engineering, and Business.
Welcome to comment!

Stephen's suggestion: EDX

Stephen went to the website: www.edx.org

Stephen mentioned that this website offers courses from Harvard, MIT, and other prestigious Universities!!

Very interesting and worth checking it out further!

Thanks Stephen

Yvonne's suggestion: VELSOFT

Yvonne suggested that we look at VELSOFT courseware:

We can buy material (a list of courses) from them and then we can share it among faculty / students. When one completes online courses, they get a certificate. So many courses in Soft skills, Business, and Computer.

Worth checking!!

Thanks Yvonne!

Tara's suggestion: LYNDA website

According to Tara:

LYNDA (www.lynda.com)  is a website that offers courses. In order to become a member, you have to pay a fee. She likes the way they teach, she finds it interesting!
She took a course in Story Telling and she really enjoyed it!
She mentioned that we used to have a Group membership on LYNDA.

Thanks Tara!

Let's investigate LYNDA website more!!
